Truth
We search for Truth all of our lives and we don't even know it. I know your curious, or you never would have ended up on this page. See, God just set you up. Yes, God.
I know in my own life, I've been on a hard journey looking for Truth. As long as I can remember, I just wanted to know the Truth. I didn't even know what that was until recently.
I know now. Jesus is Truth. We were created BY Jesus FOR Jesus. He wants YOU. ALL of you, and He wants to give you such an abundant life full of His Love that you can't contain it!
Understand that God loves you, and He created you to know Him personally.
In John 3:16 Jesus says, "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life."
In John 17:3 Jesus says, "And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent."
We cannot know God or His love personally, because man is sinful. Romans 3:23 tells us that, "for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" This sin is what separates us. This is what makes us feel uncomfortable when people even say the word "Jesus" or "Church"... our sin within us.
Romans 6:23 tells us that, "the wages of sin is death." This death is spiritual separation from God. We have this desire to know God, but we feel deep within this separation. So we need a way to come to God.

Jesus Christ is God's ONLY provision for man's sin. It is through Jesus alone that we can personally know and experience God's love.
Romans 5:8 tells us that, "God demonstrates His own Love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us" ... you see, the God of the universe bankrupted Heaven and sent His own son down to pay for OUR sins. Would you give up your child for the murder down the street? God did.
I Corinthians 15:3-46 tells us that, "Christ died for our sins...He was buried...He was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures..."
John 14:6 tells us that He is the ONLY way, "Jesus said to Him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.'"
Jesus is the only Bridge between God and Man.
He paid the price for our sins. He died so that we might live.
Knowing these truths alone is not enough. Each of us must individually receive Jesus Christ as our personal Lord and Savior. Then we can know God personally and experience His love. Being raised in Church isn't enough. Being a good person isn't enough. Having said a prayer when you were a child isn't enough. You must receive Him daily!
We Must Receive Christ:

We Must have Faith:
Ephesians 2:8-9 "For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, 9 not of works, lest anyone should boast."

When We Receive Christ...
We Experience a New Birth:
John 3:3, 5-8 "Jesus answered, 'I tell you the truth, unless one is born again, he cannot be in God’s kingdom.'...'I tell you the truth, unless one is born from water and the Spirit, he cannot enter God’s kingdom. Human life comes from human parents, but spiritual life comes from the Spirit. Don’t be surprised when I tell you, ‘You must all be born again.’ The wind blows where it wants to and you hear the sound of it, but you don’t know where the wind comes from or where it is going. It is the same with every person who is born from the Spirit.'"
We must Personally Invite Him:
Revelation 3:20 Jesus reveals to us, "Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him..."

Receiving Christ involves turning to God away from self (repentance) and trusting Christ to come into our lives to forgive us of our sins and to make us what He wants us to be. This means if you truly want this life, He WILL change you. It won't always be easy, but it will be glorious. You will have deep peace, and everlasting life!
